September 3, 2010: Fayetteville, NC 28304 The Seventy-First Falcons football squad scored 44 points and limited the visiting Hoke County Bucks to 13 in the Falcons non-league win on Friday.
The Falcons now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Lee for a non-league battle on Friday, September 10. Seventy-First will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 48-0 non-league loss to Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-4.
The Bucks (0-4) will now prepare for their match against South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, South View dropped by Hillside (Durham, NC), 53-13, in a non-league match.
