The McKinney Lions basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Rockwall Yellowjackets to 39 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Austin for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 10. McKinney will battle a Maroons team coming off a 42-35 non-league win over Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX). The Maroons record now stands at 2-1.

The Yellowjackets (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Lone Star was routed by Coppell (Coppell, TX), 75-36, in a non-league contest.
