Missouri High School Basketball - Olathe East nips Lee's Summit
January 18, 2023: Lee's Summit, MO 64063 Olathe East Hawks (Olathe, KS) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lee's Summit Tigers (Lee's Summit, MO), 38-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Olathe East upgrades its record to 3-7 on the season. The Hawks travel to Shawnee Mission North (Shawnee Mission, KS) to play the Bison in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Shawnee Mission North won 41-6 in their recent non-league bout against Lawrence Free State (Lawrence, KS)
Next up, the Tigers play the Blue Valley North Mustangs (Overland Park, KS) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Lee's Summit will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 8-0 record after their 56-22 non-league win over Blue Springs South (Blue Springs, MO).
