Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA) and the visiting Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA), observed Anacortes's basketball team nudge Squalicum by a final score of 47-43.

In their next game, the Seahawks face the Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game, on Friday, January 17. Anacortes will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a 7-6 record after their 70-61 league loss to Blaine (Blaine, WA).
