Texas High School Basketball - Howe topped by Celina
December 30, 2022: Celina, TX 75009 The Celina Bobcats basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Howe Bulldogs to 35 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Bobcats now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nocona for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Celina will battle a Indians team coming off a 63-57 non-league win over Boyd (Boyd, TX). The Indians record now stands at 11-7.
The Bulldogs (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bells (Bells, TX). The Panthers come into the 3A Region II District 11 contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Bells dropped by New Deal (New Deal, TX), 56-47, in a non-league contest.
