Utah High School Basketball - Jordan ripped by Lehi
January 6, 2023: Lehi, UT 84043 The Lehi Pioneers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Jordan Beetdiggers to 13 in the Pioneers league triumph on Friday.
The Pioneers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain View for a contest on Tuesday, January 17.
The Beetdiggers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lehi (Lehi, UT). The Pioneers enter the contest with a 6-2 record.
First Quarter
Seven players score in the first quarter for the Pioneers. Maddie Andrews hit a three as Lehi scored 21 points in the quarter.
Jordan score 5 points and Lehi has an 18- point lead going into the second period.
Second Quarter
Jordan scored 4 points and Lehi had 14. Sophie Bliss and Brynlee Cook each had three-point shots drop. The score at the end of the first half is 37 to 9 in favor of the Pioneers.
Third Quarter
Not much scoring in the third quarter. Jordan made just 1 foul shot and Lehi put in 8 points. Lily Worthan and Madi Andrews each had a three-point basket. the score going into the fourth quarter is Lehi 45 and Jordan10.
Fourth Quarter
Grace Worsley, Clair Andrus, and Maddie Ogden did all the scoring for the Pioneers in the final quarter. Clair Andrus made a three which got the Lehi bench jumping. The final score is Lehi 56 and Jordan 13.
