North Carolina High School Baseball - Hough can't hold off New Hanover
April 13, 2024: Wilmington, NC 28401 In Saturday's non-league game, the host New Hanover Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Hough Huskies.
The Wildcats (9-8) will now prepare for their game against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates go into the Mideastern 3A/4A game with a 8-7 record. In their last game, Topsail was edged by West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 7-3, in a league game.
The Huskies (12-4) will now prepare for their game against Harding University (Charlotte, NC). The Rams go into the Queen City 3A/4A game with a 2-9 record. In their last game, Harding University tipped West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC), 13-12, in a league game.
