Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln winner over Moline
February 19, 2011: Lincoln, IL 62656 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Moline Maroons (Moline, IL), by a margin of 58-42.
The Railsplitters (22-5) will now prepare for their outing against Lanphier (Springfield, IL). The Lions go into the Central State Eight outing with a 15-9 record. In their last outing, Lanphier topped Taylorville (Taylorville, IL), 67-28, in a non-league outing.
The Maroons now own a 16-11 record. They take the field next when they host Galesburg for a Western Big 6 outing on Friday, February 25. Moline will clash with a Silver Streaks squad coming off a 84-39 non-league loss to Notre Dame (Peoria, IL). The Silver Streaks record now stands at 23-6.
