Texas High School Basketball - Levelland fells Denver City
December 16, 2022: Levelland, TX 79336 Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Denver City Mustangs (Denver City, TX), 53-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Levelland upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Lobos host Littlefield (Littlefield, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Littlefield lost 73-60 in their recent non-league bout against Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Friona Chieftans (Friona, TX) in a 3A Region I District 3 bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Denver City will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Chieftans go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 53-45 non-league win over Ralls (Ralls, TX).
