The North Murray Mountaineers basketball team scored 92 points and held the visiting Pickens Dragons to 62 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ringgold for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. North Murray will battle a Tigers team coming off a 64-56 non-league win over Polk County (Benton, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 3-9.

The Dragons (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Southeast Whitfield County was routed by Murray County (Chatsworth, GA), 49-45, in a non-league contest.
