The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the San Gorgonio Spartans (San Bernardino, CA) and the visiting Arroyo Valley Hawks (San Bernardino, CA), saw San Gorgonio's volleyball squad beat Arroyo Valley by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, San Gorgonio upgrades its record to 5-8 on the year. The Spartans travel to Hesperia (Hesperia, CA) to play the Scorpions in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Scorpions go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Hesperia lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Burroughs (Ridgecrest, CA)

The Hawks now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Garey for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7. Arroyo Valley will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Wilson (Hacienda Heights, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-7.
