The Sharyland Rattlers crushed the visiting Weslaco Panthers baseball team by a tally of 9-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Rattlers now hold a 15-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Donna for a 5A Region IV District 30 bout on Tuesday, March 15. Sharyland will face a Redskins team coming off a 11-1 league loss to La Joya (La Joya, TX). The Redskins record now stands at 1-3.
