Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Rivera Raiders (Brownsville, TX) and the host Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots (Mission, TX), saw Rivera's baseball squad beat Mission Veterans Memorial by a margin of 19-1.

Coming up next, the Raiders play the Edinburg Bobcats (Edinburg, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 11. Rivera will attempt to better on its 10-9 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 5-10 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Roma (Roma, TX).

The Patriots now sport a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Juarez-Lincoln for a 5A Region IV District 30 battle on Tuesday, March 14.
