October 4, 2022: Oakland, CA 94618 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Holy Names Monarchs (Oakland, CA) and the visiting California School for the Deaf Eagles (Fremont, CA), saw Holy Names's volleyball squad beat California School for the Deaf by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Holy Names upgrades its record to 7-4 on the year. The Monarchs host Cristo Rey De La Salle (Oakland, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 5. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Cristo Rey De La Salle lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against AIMS College Prep (Oakland, CA)
The Eagles (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Making Waves Academy (Richmond, CA). The Marlins enter the Bay Counties - General test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Making Waves Academy gained a win over Emery (Emeryville, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
