California High School Basketball - Valencia nudges San Gabriel
December 29, 2023: San Gabriel, CA 91776 Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host San Gabriel Matadors (San Gabriel, CA), 18-12 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Valencia upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Fontana (Fontana, CA) to clash with the Steelers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Steelers go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Fontana lost 49-39 in their recent non-league bout against Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA)
Next up, the Matadors clash with the Mark Keppel Aztecs (Alhambra, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 2. San Gabriel will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Aztecs go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 37-35 non-league win over Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA).
