The Wolcott RVT Wildcats basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers to 38 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vinal RVT for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Wolcott RVT will battle a Hawks team coming off a 67-57 non-league loss to O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT). The Hawks record now stands at 1-16.

The Mountaineers (0-18) will now prepare for their contest against Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Shepaug Valley triumphed over O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT), 74-33, in a non-league contest.
