New Mexico High School Basketball - Monte Del Sol Charter nudges Estancia

Monte Del Sol Charter Dragons (Santa Fe, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Estancia Bears (Estancia, NM), 73-69 in a league bout.

With the win, Monte Del Sol Charter upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Dragons travel to Menaul (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Panthers in a 2A District 2 bout on Thursday, February 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Menaul won 56-48 in their recent non-league bout against Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM)

Next up, the Bears clash with the Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM) in a 2A District 2 bout, on Saturday, February 4. Estancia will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The go into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 81-45 league win over Tierra Encantada (Santa Fe, NM).
