In Thursday's league match, the host Mott Corsairs basketball team scored a decisive 70-38 triumph over the South Lyon Lions.

In their next game, the Corsairs meet the Divine Child Falcons (Dearborn, MI) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 27. Mott will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 64-50 league loss to Loyola (Detroit, MI).

With the defeat, South Lyon moves to 2-6 on the year. The Lions travel to Monroe (Monroe, MI) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Friday, December 29. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 1-5. Monroe lost 78-46 in their recent non-league match against Dearborn (Dearborn, MI)
