The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Bear River Bears (Garland, UT) and the host Mountain Crest Mustangs (Hyrum, UT), saw Bear River's lacrosse team overcome Mountain Crest by a margin of 17-9.

The Bears (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Box Elder (Brigham City, UT). The Bees enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record.

The Mustangs (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against East (Salt Lake City, UT). The Leopards enter the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, East was overwhelmed by Bear River (Garland, UT), 17-2, in a non-league challenge.
