South Dakota High School Volleyball - Yankton Columbus
August 28, 2021: Yankton, SD 57078 The Columbus Discoverers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Yankton Bucks/Gazelles to 0 in the Discoverers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Discoverers now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grand Island for a A District game on Thursday, September 2. Columbus will confront a Islanders team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Norfolk (Norfolk, NE). The Islanders record now stands at 0-2.
The Bucks/Gazelles (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, SD). The Tigers enter the AA District 1 game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Harrisburg dropped by Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD), 2-0, in a non-league game.
