Missouri High School Basketball - Knox County overwhelmed by Palmyra
January 8, 2019: Palmyra, MO 63461 The Palmyra Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Knox County Eagles to 37 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mark Twain for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 10. Palmyra will battle a Tigers team coming off a 60-48 league win over Silex (Silex, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 6-6.
The Eagles (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Fayette (Fayette, MO). The Falcons come into the Lewis & Clark contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Fayette was routed by Slater (Slater, MO), 79-49, in a non-league contest.
