Illinois High School Basketball - East Dubuque ripped by Byron
December 13, 2023: Byron, IL 61010 The Byron Tigers basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting East Dubuque Warriors to 33 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winnebago for a Big Northern contest on Friday, December 15. Byron will meet a Indians team coming off a 46-16 non-league loss to Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL). The Indians record now stands at 1-4.
The Warriors (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lutheran (Rockford, IL). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Lutheran triumphed over Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL), 71-51, in a league contest.
