The Hazleton Area Cougars football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Dallas Mountaineers to 21 in the Cougars non-league win on Friday.

The Cougars now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Delaware Valley for a non-league battle on Friday, October 1. Hazleton Area will play a Warriors squad coming off a 39-7 league win over Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.

Coming up next, the Mountaineers play the Williamsport Millionaires (Williamsport, PA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 1. Dallas will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record.
