The Union County Braves basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Hopkins County Central Storm to 21 in the Braves non-league victory on Saturday.

The Braves now sport a 16-6 record. They play next when they host Lyon County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 1. Union County will meet a Lyons team coming off a 52-40 non-league win over Reidland (Paducah, KY). The Lyons record now stands at 12-5.

The Storm (2-19) will now prepare for their contest against Webster County (Dixon, KY). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 5-11 record.
