Ohio High School Basketball - Covington knocked off by New Bremen
November 29, 2022: New Bremen, OH 45869 The New Bremen Cardinals basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Covington Buccs to 46 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Recovery for a Midwest contest on Thursday, December 1. New Bremen will meet a Indians team coming off a 50-33 non-league loss to Mississinawa Valley (Union City, OH). The Indians record now stands at 0-2.
The Buccs (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bethel (Tipp City, OH). The Bees enter the Three Rivers contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Bethel ran past Madison (Middletown, OH), 46-40, in a non-league game.
