Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Millennium Lions (Mount Airy, NC), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots confront the Rockwell Christian School Chargers (Rockwell, NC) in a NCCSA AA District 1 challenge, on Monday, September 13. Union Grove Christian will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Triad Baptist Christian Academy (Kernersville, NC).

The Lions now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Stokes for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 14.
