Louisiana High School Basketball - Riverdale Academy overwhelms Central School
January 22, 2024: Coushatta, LA 71019 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Riverdale Academy Rebels (Coushatta, LA) and the visiting Central School Pioneers (Grand Cane, LA), saw Riverdale Academy's basketball squad wallop Central School by a tally of 62-14.
With the victory, Riverdale Academy improves its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Rebels host Northeast Baptist (West Monroe, LA) to play the Knights in a MAIS 2A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Northeast Baptist lost 32-20 in their recent league challenge against Central School (Grand Cane, LA)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Claiborne Academy Rebels (Haynesville, LA) in a MAIS 2A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Central School will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 40-39 league loss to Briarfield Academy (Lake Providence, LA).
