April 26, 2014: Gladstone, NJ 07934 The Rutgers Prep Argonauts baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Gill St. Bernard's Knights to 4 in the Argonauts non-league victory on Saturday.
The Argonauts (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Pennington (Pennington, NJ). The Red Raiders go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record.
The Knights (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Belvidere (Belvidere, NJ). The County Seaters go into the Skyland - Valley match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Belvidere by Pius X (Bangor, PA), 16-11, in a non-league match.

Danny Schantz delivered a two-run double to break the game open in the top of the seventh inning after Matt von Roemer's go-ahead two RBI-double and Anthony Brocato pitched two innings in relief to get the win to go along with a sensational day at the plate as ninth-seeded Rutgers Prep rallied for four runs in the final frame to knock off eighth-seeded Gill St. Bernard's, 7-4, in the second round of the Somerset County Tournament in Gladstone.
Rutgers Prep will now face top-seeded and defending SCT champion Bernards next Saturday in the quarterfinal round. Rutgers Prep trailed, 4-3, entering the last inning. Brocato struck out six in his two shutout innings and was 3-for-3 with a two-run home run in the first inning as Rutgers Prep jumped out to a 2-0 lead. Justin Henry was 2-for-3 with an RBI and began the seventh inning rally with a single to lead off the frame.
