The Leake Central Gators football squad scored 42 points and restricted the host Canton Tigers to 20 in the Gators non-league victory on Friday.

The Gators now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union for a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. Leake Central will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 76-48 non-league loss to Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-4.

Coming up next, the Tigers face the Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS) in a 5A Region 2 battle, on Friday, September 26. Canton will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record.
