Washington High School Softball - Burlington-Edison bounces Kingston
April 3, 2023: Burlington, WA 98233 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) and the visiting Kingston Buccaneers (Kingston, WA), saw Burlington-Edison's softball squad achieve victory over Kingston by a count of 18-8.
The Tigers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Meridian for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Monday, April 10. Burlington-Edison will face a Trojans squad coming off a 5-2 league win over Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Kingston falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Sequim (Sequim, WA) to face the Wolves in a 2A Olympic match on Tuesday, April 11. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 1-0.
