South Dakota High School Basketball - Redfield crushes Northwestern Area
February 16, 2021: Redfield, SD 57469 Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD), 58-25 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Redfield upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Pheasants host Webster (Webster, SD) to play the Bearcats in a A Region 1 bout on Friday, February 19. The Bearcats come into the bout with a record of 9-11. Webster lost 55-41 in their recent non-league bout against Deubrook (White, SD)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 18. Northwestern Area will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Wolverines come into the bout with a 16-3 record after their 54-33 league win over Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD).
