November 22, 2021: Laneville, TX 75667 The Laneville Yellowjackets basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Latexo Tigers to 34 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Monday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cushing for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 30. Laneville will battle a Bearkats team coming off a 53-48 non-league loss to Arp (Arp, TX). The Bearkats record now stands at 1-2.
The Tigers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Overton (Overton, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Overton was routed by Mt. Enterprise (Mt. Enterprise, TX), 55-27, in a non-league contest.
