January 25, 2022: Dearborn, MI 48128 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Divine Child Falcons (Dearborn, MI) and the visiting Gabriel Richard Fighting Irish (Ann Arbor, MI), saw Divine Child's basketball squad hold off Gabriel Richard by a tally of 48-43.
With the victory, Divine Child improves its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Mercy (Farmington Hills, MI) to confront the Marlins in a Catholic Central challenge on Friday, January 28. The Marlins come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Mercy won 59-33 in their recent league challenge against Marian (Bloomfield Hills, MI)
Next up, the Fighting Irish confront the Lutheran North Mustangs (Macomb, MI) in a Catholic Central challenge, on Friday, January 28. Gabriel Richard will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 35-24 league loss to Regina (Warren, MI).
