Oregon High School Basketball - Nixyaawii Community tipped by Western Christian
December 1, 2023: Pendleton, OR 97801 The Western Christian Pioneers basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Nixyaawii Community Eagles to 62 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pioneers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stanfield for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Western Christian will meet a Tigers team coming off a 65-45 non-league loss to Umatilla (Umatilla, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Stanfield (Stanfield, OR). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Stanfield was nudged by Western Christian (Salem, OR), 79-57, in a non-league contest.
