Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN) and the host Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles (Cambridge City, IN), saw Blue River Valley's basketball squad hold off Cambridge City Lincoln by a tally of 57-56.

With the victory, Blue River Valley improves its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Vikings host Wes-Del (Gaston, IN) to confront the Warriors in a Mid-Eastern challenge on Friday, February 18. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Wes-Del lost 66-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Muncie Burris (Muncie, IN)

Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Seton Catholic Cardinals (Richmond, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 19.
