Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Fairmont Firebirds (Kettering, OH) and the host Miamisburg Vikings (Miamisburg, OH), saw Fairmont's basketball squad hold off Miamisburg by a tally of 59-53.

With the victory, Fairmont improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Firebirds host Centerville (Centerville, OH) to confront the Elks in a Greater Western Ohio challenge on Wednesday, December 13. The Elks come into the challenge with a record of 4-0.
