Virginia High School Basketball - Christchurch School overwhelms Norfolk Academy
January 24, 2024: Christchurch, VA 23031 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Christchurch School Seahorses (Christchurch, VA) and the visiting Norfolk Academy Bulldogs (Norfolk, VA), saw Christchurch School's basketball squad wallop Norfolk Academy by a tally of 63-41.
With the victory, Christchurch School improves its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Seahorses host St. Michael the Archangel (Fredericksburg, VA) to confront the Warriors in a VISAA Division IV challenge on Friday, January 26. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. St. Michael the Archangel won 33-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Trinity Christian (Fairfax, VA)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Peninsula Catholic Knights (Newport News, VA) in a VISAA Division II challenge, on Friday, January 26. Norfolk Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 49-17 league loss to Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA).
