Nebraska High School Basketball - Sandhills/Thedford holds off Cody-Kilgore
February 12, 2010: Cody, NE 69211 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE) and the host Cody-Kilgore Cowboys (Cody, NE), saw Sandhills/Thedford's basketball squad hold off Cody-Kilgore by a count of 61-59.
With the victory, Sandhills/Thedford upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Brady (Brady, NE) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 19. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-13. Brady won 47-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE)
Next up, the Cowboys play the Sioux County Warriors (Harrison, NE) in a D2 District 12 challenge, on Saturday, February 13. Cody-Kilgore will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 46-41 non-league loss to Crawford (Crawford, NE).
