In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Ray Texans (Corpus Christi, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 match, on Friday, November 6. King will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Texans enter the match with a 1-8 record after their 61-7 league loss to Southwest (San Antonio, TX).
The Hornets (3-6) will now prepare for their match against South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX). The Bobcats enter the 6A Region IV District 28 match with a 1-8 record. In their last match, South San Antonio was nudged by Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX), 56-7, in a league match.
