Texas High School Basketball - Georgetown holds off Vandegrift
November 29, 2022: Georgetown, TX 78626 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) and the visiting Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX), saw Georgetown's basketball squad hold off Vandegrift by a tally of 54-48.
With the victory, Georgetown improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Manor (Manor, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 1. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Manor won 52-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Temple (Temple, TX)
Next up, the Vipers confront the Regents Knights (Austin, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 2. Vandegrift will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 56-22 non-league loss to Lutheran (San Antonio, TX).
