New York High School Football - Port Jefferson can't get by Mount Sinai
September 25, 2021: Port Jefferson, NY 11777 Mount Sinai Mustangs (Mount Sinai, NY) fans left the game satisfied Saturday as they observed their football team nudge the host Port Jefferson Royals (Port Jefferson, NY), 22-18 in a league test.
With the win, Mount Sinai improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Shoreham-Wading River (Shoreham, NY) to confront the Wildcats in a Section 11 Division IV test on Friday, October 1. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 3-0. Shoreham-Wading River won 42-7 in their recent league test against John Glenn (Elwood, NY)
With the loss, Port Jefferson moves to 1-2 on the season. The Royals travel to Hampton Bays (Hampton Bays, NY) to confront the Baymen in a Section 11 Division IV test on Saturday, October 2. The Baymen go into the test with a record of 0-3. Hampton Bays lost 39-12 in their recent league test against Greenport-Southold-Mattituck (Greenport, NY)
