Alabama High School Baseball - Piedmont gets by Oxford
March 9, 2021: Oxford, AL 36203 Piedmont Bulldogs (Piedmont, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL), 14-11 in a non-league test.
With the win, Piedmont upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Westbrook Christian (Rainbow City, AL) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, March 11. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 6-3. Westbrook Christian won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Sardis (Boaz, AL)
With the defeat, Oxford falls to 6-2 on the season. The Yellow jackets host Bob Jones (Madison, AL) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Friday, March 12. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 9-7. Bob Jones won 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Ardmore (Ardmore, AL)
