Missouri High School Football - St. Pius X held off by St. Vincent
October 9, 2020: Festus, MO 63028 St. Vincent Indians (Perryville, MO) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host St. Pius X Lancers (Festus, MO), 28-21 in a league test.
With the triumph, St. Vincent improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Grandview (Hillsboro, MO) to battle the Eagles in a I-55 test on Friday, October 16. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-2. Grandview lost 42-0 in their recent league test against Jefferson (Festus, MO)
With the loss, St. Pius X drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Lancers host Thayer (Thayer, MO) to meet the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 16. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Thayer won 43-6 in their recent league challenge against Ava (Ava, MO)
