Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Shamokin nudges South Side
December 28, 2010: Rural Valley, PA 16249 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting South Side Rams (Hookstown, PA), by a margin of 42-41.
The Wolves (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Indians come into the WPIAL AA 1 bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Shady Side Academy held off Langley (Pittsburgh, PA), 72-56, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Rams play the Vincentian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 4. South Side will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The come into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 81-63 non-league win over Clarion-Limestone (Strattanville, PA).
