Louisiana High School Softball - Sulphur bounces Comeaux
April 7, 2022: Lafayette, LA 70508 The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA) and the host Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA), saw Sulphur's softball squad achieve victory over Comeaux by a count of 17-0.
The Golden Tors now sport a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Barbe for a 5A District 3 match on Monday, April 11. Sulphur will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Anacoco (Anacoco, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 20-6.
With the loss, Comeaux falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Spartans host New Iberia (New Iberia, LA) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league match on Friday, April 8. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 7-19. New Iberia lost 16-6 in their recent league match against Lafayette (Lafayette, LA)
