Missouri High School Basketball - Fair Grove fells Mt. Vernon
December 20, 2022: Fair Grove, MO 65648 Fair Grove Eagles (Fair Grove, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mt. Vernon Mountaineers (Mt. Vernon, MO), 64-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fair Grove upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Eagles host Hollister (Hollister, MO) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Hollister won 60-46 in their recent league bout against Monett (Monett, MO)
Next up, the Mountaineers play the Diamond Wildcats (Diamond, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Mt. Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 61-48 non-league loss to College Heights Christian (Joplin, MO).
