Georgia High School Basketball - Columbia overwhelms McNair

January 26, 2024: Decatur, GA 30032

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Columbia Eagles (Decatur, GA) and the visiting McNair Mustangs (Atlanta, GA), saw Columbia's basketball squad wallop McNair by a tally of 86-25.

With the victory, Columbia improves its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Elite Scholars Academy (Jonesboro, GA) to confront the Royal Knights in a AA Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Royal Knights come into the challenge with a record of 4-15. Elite Scholars Academy lost 54-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Mount Paran Christian (Kennesaw, GA)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Jasper County Hurricanes (Monticello, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. McNair will attempt to improve on its 1-19 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 72-53 league loss to Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA).
