January 19, 2024: El Maton, TX 77440 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Tidehaven Tigers (El Maton, TX) and the visiting Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX), saw Tidehaven's basketball squad overcome Palacios by a tally of 49-38.
With the victory, Tidehaven improves its record to 17-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Edna (Edna, TX) to confront the Cowboys in a 3A Region IV District 25 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a record of 22-6. Edna lost 63-40 in their recent league challenge against Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX)
Next up, the Sharks confront the Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Palacios will attempt to improve on its 17-11 season record. The Cobras come into the challenge with a 8-15 record after their 53-50 league loss to Yoakum (Yoakum, TX).
