South Carolina High School Basketball - Mason tops Riverside
December 28, 2023: Greer, SC 29650 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mason Comets (Mason, OH) and the host Riverside Warriors (Greer, SC), saw Mason's basketball squad knock off Riverside by a tally of 59-50.
With the victory, Mason improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Comets host Fairfield (Fairfield, OH) to play the Indians in a Greater Miami challenge on Friday, January 5. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Fairfield lost 54-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairmont (Kettering, OH)
Next up, the Warriors play the Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Riverside will attempt to improve on its 11-2 season record. The Ramblers come into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 43-21 non-league win over Seminole (Seminole, FL).
