January 27, 2023: Chesterfield, VA Fans at Friday's league challenge between the James River HomeSchool Eagles (Chesterfield, VA) and the visiting Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks (Fairfax, VA), saw James River HomeSchool's basketball squad wallop Fairfax HomeSchool by a tally of 59-29.
With the victory, James River HomeSchool improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Cristo Rey (Richmond, VA) to confront the Royals in a Freelance challenge on Monday, January 30. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 7-12. Cristo Rey lost 60-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Veritas Collegiate Academy (Chesapeake, VA)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights (Washington, DC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 30. Fairfax HomeSchool will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 70-41 non-league win over Coppin Academy (Baltimore, MD).
